I just modded my xbox with xecuter3 chip (had some problems with that, but it's all good now) and have the latest xecuter bios w/ evolutionx via Slayers auto-installer. ANYHOW, to the point.
I only have the retail HDD in the box, which means some games are too large to rip directly to the HDD. So I set myself up an account for the SMB thing, and edited the XML. When I go to dvd2xbox on my xbox, and hit X for SMB, it stops after a few files and tells me ACL and... media somethingorother is not supported in SMB mode.
I ripped a smaller game earlier in the day(Burnout3, plays, but crashes from disk, will look into the IGR thingy I've read about)
Any tips?!! Besides buying a larger HDD?! Will be doing that soon, just not soon enough ;) <
