MGS, Redient Evil, Ninja Gaiden and all those random crappy nonsense hackslash rpg games, were never good and never will.

Well usually I just read these topics; but here I really do need to say that I absolutely crave MGS4.
I've downloaded those trailers and whatnot about it;
...and it really does look like an incredible piece of work.
To be honest, I do want a PS3. There's nothing but the price that puts me off it.
...and it's blatant plagiarism of features.
Oh and the console's herculean weight...
Now. To see this game on the 360 would be a terrific deal-breaker to a lot of fans.

All of this talk about a "crappy port" and whatnot.
Get real. A port is a port. Nothing more than reprogramming code portions in order to run an application on another system. I didn't see any problems with MGS2. That game was great.
Also, what was with STiCKyiKyBuDz's (game-racism)? I say he needs to actually play these games before commenting about them.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for the PS2 was a great game.
Kojima was finally able to fix the broken camera system that has plagued the series.
So I've been looking forward to MGS4 ever since....
OXM's rumor guy is fairly accurate with his rumors.
And he's been predicting this game to hit the X360 for a long time now.
He's the first guy who reported that Kojima was being forced to port the game over to the X360.
So it's concievable that Konami pulled another team for the X360 port.
Also I wouldn't put any stock on a crappy port either, MGS2 was ported over fairly well.
With the exception of a little bit of slow down in "one" area of the game.
Plus remember that Kojima himself admitted that MGS4 can run on the X360.
Lets all remember that OXM is the official magazine of the X360.
It makes sense that M$ would purposely put these rumors out now since they are not allowed to officially cofirm that MGS4 is coming to the X360....

A bad worksman always blames his tools, if you can't use the controller it's your fault, nobody else seems to have trouble. plus these was never any precise aiming involved this nullifying the use on analogue stick and FYI making analogue stick mandatory on the first 3 RE titles would have been stupid as this would exclude any non-dualshock users (not every drone went out and bought a dualshock when they were released)
If it's so bad why has there been over well over 10 games in the franchise, 2 films with another 2 on the way and about 8 books.
FYI resident evil isn't a shooter, it's survival horror, any gamer should know that.
Next time you generalize a franchise as "shitty", you should perhaps make sure it's not one of the biggest in existence.
I don't particularly care for halo either, but by no means is it a shitty game.

That's exactly what I thought.
It may sound silly but I quite enjoy buying games that have multiple discs I feel like I'm somehow getting more for my money.
While I don't necessarily enjoy switching discs if I get a game that comes with a 2nd disc full of bonus content and a 3rd disc with behind the scenes videos in a nice multi-disc box I love it.
The same goes for movies... I'd hate to have to switch discs in the middle of a movie but if you give me 4 discs full of extra content I'm in heaven.
Switching discs in a game isn't so bad... I did it with tons of games on the PS1, the DC, and the GC and it never really bothered me. Most of the time games that require disc switching are linear (they're not reusing assets which is why they need the discs switched) and you'll play for a few days before moving onto the next disc so it's not like a constant interruption.
If MGS4 comes on multiple discs that's cool with me.
