I've usually got two gamefly, and two blockbuster rentals out at once, since i subscribe to both services, and the blockbuster coupons are just a perk of monthly subscription.
Rentals not shown: Darkness, Call of Juarez, Overlord, and hopefully Bioshock once its released.
xbox cell games are there just because im an addict.

oh and Heet next time you plan on tossing a case let me know, I'd seriously consider buying some of that stuff off of you. Sometimes you get crap cases right out of the plastic and when buying used good manuals are hard to come by.

Thanks, I'm somewhat of an SE collector. I have a great many for the Xbox 1 as well. I actually added NFS Carbon LE to my collection recently, as well as The Darkness... I've been eyeing Madden 07 Hall of Fame Edition for a while because it's only $30 but my local Walmart has 8 of them still in stock and 08 will becoming out soon. I figure if I milk it a little longer I'll be able to snag it for $20. I don't really like madden but collected LEs and SEs is an obsession
Two Worlds comes out soon with an LE available only through GameStop. you can be sure I'll be picking that one up.

Nice, asian editions are a little different. Most of time time you won't find special editions. Sometimes the only releases are the special editions. LOL, quite peculiar.

Couple were bought new, most are pre-owned titles from 1 week per game gamers. They'll play the game, finish it and sell it off. I got Dirt after 2 hours from a gamer that decided he didn't like racing games. Blue Dragon got it after a week from the same fella. He just wanted to finish the game and went through it with only 3 hours of sleep a day. LOL

Same here... Though I didn't actually buy it at best buy.
I didn't usually pre-order but I really wanted to guarantee an LE and I saw best buy was giving a free empty GoW case and T-shirt if you put $5 down to pre order so I figured even if they f-ed up pre-order the t-shirt and case were worth $5.
I told the clerk I wanted to guarantee an LE edition and they said not to worry because they'd be getting more than enough in
release day rolled around and what do you know, the didn't get ANY LE copies in... I demanded my $5 back and they obliged and let me keep the t-shirt and case
I went to circuit city, eb games, sears, toys-r-us, fye, strawberries, borders, Sams club, and none of them had LEs in... finally I decided to try Walmart and for whatever reason they ONLY got the LEs in and no regular version
anyway I keep the game disc in the case that came with the best buy pre-order so I don't have to mess up the nice LE case. you'll notice there is a black case next to Viva Pinata for the same reason, I also do this with Prey but I have a friend who's borrowing the disc at the moment.

I've also got the Limited Edition Jade Empire, easily one of the best Xbox 1 games.

I believe mine came from there as well... that or Best Buy... it's been so long ago... The house I'm moving into next has a nice size book case in the den which is where I may move all my games... then I'll have more room for DVDs in this shelf.
You know I was really disappointed that the Bioshock LE was backwards... being that the Big Daddy faced the back of the box... I still have the box just put away... I had to take my Big Daddy out and put him on my shelf... I have this self that holds my 65" set and nothing on it... I'm starting a collection of figures... haha.. Sweet, the Bioshock CE really looks good. They've announced a LE version for Asia but I'm not sure if it's just going to include a shirt with the standard tin casing. In any case I already imported the US version of the regular Bioshock. Couldn't wait till the 14th or 22nd of September when you guys were already playing it mid August. LOL. Can't believe Microsoft would screw that up. The Asian version is also region free and cheaper, perhaps that's why they delayed the release.
Finally found my Gears of War LE. It was with a friend. Just received Medal of Honor Airborne yesterday. The multiplayer for that is amazing. Right now I'm just waiting for the Halo 3 LE and once I have that I'll be busy for the next couple of months. Also finally got the elite (Asian console - extra heatsink, new benq drive, running pretty quiet and cooler). After waiting for months.
@twistedsymphony - Most of my games are NTSC-J except for the ones you see with the ESRB ratings. Those are US versions. Some are PAL as well (Overlord). But most of it are NTSC-J. I'm a little disappointed with the GRAW2 LE. Tin casing with a t-shirt, a sticker and a regular edition of the game sealed.
Next additions - Halo 3, Army Of Two, The Simpsons Game and Mass Effect.
Excited about Army Of Two. It looks really good.

yeah that the LE tin case you can see throught back window on the box. don;t tell me the US version just has the normal plastic case? That's a poor show.

the white spines are normal retail games, the front and back are normal just the spines are white, it's just the way alot of games are here.

Thats what I thought as well. I walked into Blockbuster and saw that on the shelf, thought to myself...."hahah those losers got shipped the French version" so I went to Futureshop to buy it and.....well....looks like we all get the French version. Its not often you see Francais as the dominant text on a consumer product out here, but w/e the game is the same.

I looked at the photo (not a stock image) and to my surpise it was Forza 2 in the same large Tin that the PAL region got but with the NTSC logo and an ESRB rating!!!
I did a little digging and come to find out it was released only in certain stores in Canada to those that had explicitly pre-ordered it and that there were something like < 2000 copies made for the NTSC region as a result..
I managed to snag a still sealed copy for < $60 shipped
It hasn't come in yet but I can't wait... definitely the crown jewel of my 360 collection.
I picked up COD4 LCE last week I'm picking up Assassins Creed LE tonight and I've got Mass Effect LCE pre-ordered online.
I also got a couple of other LEs to fill out my collection. I'll post a new picture once Forza gets here.

I have had my 360 since early September so I could buy the Falcon console which I have and it works perfect (so far)
I mostly bought my 360 because of Halo 3 because I'm a Halofan.

Don't be so closed minded. I have always been a big Halo fan and love Halo 3, but you should check out some other games as well. There are alot of stellar games out right now. I would know... I'm going broke because of it.

I also got my Mass Effect Limited Edition in along with the special pre-order bonus disc... it's comes in a GOW style tin and is much nicer than I thought it would be.
Even better is after calling my local Gamestop nearly daily for a 12 days they finally got more pre-order art books for Assassin's Creed in and I snagged one... so now my AC LE doesn't feel so cheap and empty the case is actually filled like it should have been from the get-go. The artbook is really nice too.
I was going to post a picture last night but I was too lazy.. I might take a picture tonight if I've got time.
... I've been debating starting a website (maybe a sub-division of thoughthead.com or solid-orange.com) dedicated to special edition game release... basically a detailed list of all included items release date, price, special provisions to get it, etc. I've also considered maybe some cool features like a user scoring system or a value tracker where I'd estimate the eBay resell value every 6 months or something.
I don't know is this something people would be interested in seeing?

They didn't officially announce the CE until a few weeks before the release but there were a lot of strong rumors.
the ONLY place I saw it for sale was the EB/Gamestop website. Even the physical stores were not carrying it (this was intentional, for what reason I don't know).
Also EB/GS got an exclusive pre-order bonus disc (which you can see the corner of off to the side in the 2nd picture and the )...
Since you couldn't get the CE in the store and they were the only ones carrying the pre-order bonus I basically had the option of pre-ordering through the website... or nothing at all. I was originally grumbling at the idea because of the risk of damage during shipping plus the added cost of shipping but they offered free shipping and the only damage was a small chip in the top corner of the slip cover which I don't like but I keep telling myself it could have been a whole lot worse

I only sleep 4-5 hours a day during the week (no joke) I catch up on weekends where I'll sleep for 10
and before anyone starts up about health issues I've been doing this for about 7-8 years now and during that time I've only been sick once, and otherwise completely healthy...
