1st x360 was COD2.

2nd x360 was Dead Rising.

3rd still alive (touch wood).

it hasn't happened to me... I've got a launch day console and I've played 56 games.

I play on average 4 hours a day, more on weekends so it's not like it doesn't get any use either.

hasnt happened to me either.  have played MANY games (never counted) and my system is usually on for 7+ hours a day and usually longer on the weekends.  

i feel for those that have to experience this though.

My first console lasted about 12 months(launch) then died on GOW. Luckily i had the BB warranty.

Mine got killed watching a DVD movie. It was The Ultimate Goofy collection......Gosh I love the old Goofy cartoons.

I never got the 3 red lights, but my dvd drive junked out on me while playing Oblivion... literally minutes after the spring update.

Thats wierd? My old one (the one that broke!) had the ground terminal on the cord and the new one didn't.

I got the red ring of death last night playing crackdown.   I tried for about 20 minutes to get the xbox to turn back on but nothing would happen.  I turned it on this morning and it worked fine.  It looks like my 360 is on its deathbead withering away.

Launch system died Aug 06 playing NCAA 07.  

When I brought it in to Best Buy for a replacement, I put it in its original box and they didn't even open it (could have kept the controller and got an extra one in the new box).  The guy was tossing the box around all over the place...kinda funny.  First he tossed it from the front counter to the counter behind him...then from there he tossed it into a cart about 5 feet away.
