Nice.
And for those of you that don't know lost planet is a pretty amazing game.
Definetly a must have in my eyes.
-
capcom is the shiiiitt!!! all of their games own!
-
Um maybe its just me but does it really matter how many have shipped? It would be nice to know how many have SOLD worldwide.
Awesome games though! I look forward to owning those. (played over a friend's house)

I would like to try Lost Planet when I eventually get my hands on my own 360. Some good games coming out this year
-
I bought the LE version of Lost Planet on release day... I loved the demo... I haven't played it yet though
Dead Rising was an awesome game as well, easily one of the best 360 titles to come out so far.
I'm fairly confident we'll see RE5 on the 360, and I'll be happy for that, but my gaming nirvana wont be completely until they release DMC4 on the 360 and Dante can earn me some gamerscore
(interesting tid-bit though: Lost Planet is essentially the dry-run for the DMC4 engine... and it's a 360 exclusive.... hmmmmm)
-
Dead Rising and Lost Planet both have been semi surprise enjoyments for me, although I hated the save feature on DR. LP has been awesome, and I'm stuck at the level 10 boss right now, can't wait to figure him out. Way to go Capcom!!
-
Just completed Lost Planet and its a pretty amazing game along with Dead Rising.
Capcom FTW.

where u get that info from? from what I heard, capcom had problems running the lost planet engine on the ps3 (different architecture) so they opted to build the DMC engine from scratch on the ps3.

Sounds to me like I have a demo to snag when I get off work tonight.

Humm, I played the demo I thought it sucked at least based on what the demo showed. snow looked cool.. enemies and gameplay were blah.. I deleted the demo after 15 minutes messing around with it.
Maybe the real game is way better.. sounds it from what people are saying ??
wtf?.... did you not notice the incredible detail put into the demo?... did you not notice how the main charater has a torso... that actually moves realistically and how he actually aims the gun up down left right? the graphics are amazing IMO and the game play is even better

Well, I had two demos on there.. one was labeled an E3 demo and other I dont remember. I played one of them then deleted them both. I must have played a very early version or something cause it honestly sucked. Was nothing but wandering around in the snow from building to building and killing these spider looking things and some big things that came out of the ground. I'll have to dload it again and see.

Well to put it simply "shipped" means a lot more because that means that the current stock has been sold out or is about to so retailers order more before that happens.
That's money in the bank already for Capcom even if some units didn't sell, but that's usually only at the end of the games lifespan/hype. At least that's how it was explained to me.

Xbox Gazette : How many people are working on Lost Planet and could you let us know the names of some of the key team members along with their roles?
Jun Takeuchi : The number of developers is always changing, though the average would be between 40 and 50. I can't tell you about every important person, but most of them are those who have been involved with Devil May Cry 3 and Onimusha 3.
For instance, the Director is Kenji Oguro, who also worked for Onimusha 3; Takahiro Kawano, a main art designer, has worked on the design of Onimusha titles. He is involved in Lost Planet as an art director and works for overall consistency of the game world. With regard to game design, this is Kenji Oguro's main focus. Matsushita Masakazu, a main programmer was also involved in Devil May Cry 3. In Lost Planet, Capcom is using completely new engine framework that was created by Capcom. There are other 10 people working on the development of this engine. They are not only involved with Lost Planet but also Capcom's other next-gen titles. For example, Dead Rising, DMC4 and maybe Resident Evil 5 will be using the same engine. There are several other main planners working too.

Well I am loving life right now playing both games. I beat Dead Rising just after it came out. But I have played it over and over since then. Its a great game to just pick up and play even if you only have a few minutes to play.
Lost Planet had a fun demo, but I wasnt overly excited. When the game actually came out I had to get it and now I cant put it down. I love the fast pace and awesome guns. Using the VS is awesome too.
Both games worth the money.
Twisted: I got the OXM with Oblivion content, thanx for the heads up.

I liked the Lost Planet demo and LOVE the actual game! I can't put it down! Im scouring the missions for those damned target marks and so far have all of them from missions 1 - 7(I want my achievement points for these now while Im playing on Normal, no way in hell will I be able to find them when I play thru on Extreme).
Anyone try *Hard* and see how much faster your Teng drops? Damn, Extreme is going to be rough indeed!
This game has become one of my all time favorites, I never expected to like it this much. And for the reviews that said the story was horrid, I think its pretty damn good thus far(on Mission 8) and its staying on course from what I can tell. The things I could do with Luka and Basil....mmmmmmmmm
I wish we could save anywhere/anytime just for the fact I could show people certain areas real quick when they pop over. Ahh well, still an Excellent game!

"fairly confident"? its been announced and confirmed, no worries bro its on it's way to the 360.
also i have read other comments that the engine used for LP is going to be capcom's main next gen engine for future titles so i figured that the same engine (or at least portions of it) were also being used in other games as well. however what i have seen of DMC4 honestly hasnt impressed me.

Yeah!! She was definitley jealous when Wayne wanted to speak with Basil alone during one of the cutscenes, that was pretty hot. The artists made those gals very well proportioned, thank you. The game is amazingly fun in SP mode, can't wait to finish so I can try the MP. Do you get an achievement for each level you find all the target marks, or is it a single achievement for finding them all through each level? Thanks.
