Title: Gears Of War Serial Number?

My copy of gears of war came free with my 360.The box where the serial number wo uld be doesnt have a serial number it says not for resale.Anyone tell me whqat the number is so i can use ebays autofill ?

Doesn't not for resale mean that an actual retailer like, Gamestop, Toysrus, is not allowed to sell the xbox...selling on Ebay wouldn't be reselling because its being auctioned off by an individual seller and it really doesn't matter what serial they have, just as long as the product is described exactly what it is and doesn't violate Ebay's terms.

not for resale means just that. u cant RESELL it.

ebay prolly wouldnt take it off ebay, but out of good faith, if something says dont resell it....DONT RESELL IT.

not for resale means it came bundled with the xbox 360 so retailers cant just remove  the game and sell it for full price and say its new.

You're looking for the UPC code I'm assuming, so it's logged correctly on eBay. My copy of Burnout Revenge says that too.

UPC Code: 882224054034 (Google is way easier than posting questions sometimes)

Also for those unenlightened the reason it says not for resale is to prevent GameStop or some other sheisty game-sales place unbundle the game to sell the console separate from the game and make more money.

For example, the game is bundled with the console, if it had the UPC attached to the box there's noting stopping a retailer from charging for the game and the console. Whether on purpose or on accident. It's called consumer protection. Not for resale means not for retail new product standalone resale.

This guy is right. MS can't tell you you aren't allowed to sell something that's yours, that wouldn't make sense.

yes they are right, they put not for resale on meaning that companies selling that product cant remove it from the bundle to sell separate

yeah u can sell it at ebay, but the retailers can´t sell the game by himself as a usual game by U$ 49,95 for example.
