The date on the link is Nov 30, 2007...which seems plausable...

If the date din't come from bungie It is only worth a grain of salt.

Do Not believe or post such news UNLESS/UNTIL you see it on a gaming site and the press release comes DIRECTLY from MS or Bungie.

Bungie has operated this way since MS has owned them, this will not change. Thank you and have a most pleasant day.

Holiday shopping season, best time for big games, that will never change. I fully expect it to be in November as well, as everything big MS has ever launched was in that month.

Xbox launch
Live Launch
Halo 2 Launch
360 Launch
Gears Launch

All between November 9th and November 15th. Potential holiday sales almost always dictate when the big guns get released. Plenty of time to get the super duper hype machine rolling(as if it'll need it, lol).

Halo 1 took around 5 years to develop.

It has also been assumed by most that it's gonna be released November 2007 . It's a fair assumption and it's old news.

Also the rumor is that Bungie was working on Halo 3 alongside Halo 2...si it is possible that it has been in development for 3-4+ years...and a November launch is a given.
