Title: Dead Rising In Xbox Live Demo Confirmed Date With In 24 Hrs?

Does for you, like us, killing zombies fills your pants with throbbing joy? Then, fellow undead slaughterers, you should be extra-thrilled with knobs on to learn that a demo of Capcom's fantastic 360 splatterfest Dead Rising is shambling onto Xbox Live.

An arrival date for the demo has yet to be confirmed, but a spokesperson for Capcom's Euro arm informed us this morning that news on that should be released shortly - like within the next 48 hours.

Similarly, it's currently unknown precisely what game content will be in the demo, although we've been told to expect to be able to roam around the game's shopping mall - the main stage for the undead killing action - and, well, splatter zombie parts all over the place.

Dead Rising's an ultra-violent action game with plenty of black humour that finds freelance photographer Frank West battling undead hordes. More details on the game can be found by simply sliding eyes right to our lovely 'Related' column.

When I just saw the gameplay footage of the main character getting to lawnmower over zombies....that was it for me.  I'll be playin this

the video onn the marketplace says the demo will be comming very soon also, doesnt mean anything as we have learned but it could be linked. either way the full game is but a week away.  saints row made it out before the final, the outlook for an early demo isnt completly shot

not really, it will still help people decide if they want to spend 65 hard earned bucks on it.

I played a demo at Zero Hour and lookn' forward to picking this one up! Should be fun mindless zombiefest.

i also played it at zero hour (w00t!) and downloaded the marketplace demo this morning before work. going to try it out when i get home.  also glad to see the demos getting more of a quality schedule.
