sorry,, i just cant see this game being what they claim, its just yet anotherrrrrr   same ol same ol game for the 360...  been there done that,, just now with better graphics.

probably gunna be another month before we see it on the marketplace.
christ the US cant even get a stupid CrapHounds demo...

sorry no one has been able to find the demo.  i just thought i would post it incase it turned out to be true.  

i agree though, any GTA fan should be excited as all living hell about this game.  coming from someone who doesnt care for the genre, even this game impresses me.  also from recent previews, it would seem that the slow frame rate of the E3 build has already been fixed up.

A demo would be good in the meantime, but isn't the game out in about 2 weeks? I was on Play.com wondering how I'm gonna afford all the games listed for release on the 1st of August or thereabouts and Saints Row was listed for that date.

August is going to be a quiet and lean month with all the tasty games hitting the shelves. About time too. smile.gif

Demo is fun and seems big, but you cant save. It has some graphical glitches but hopefully they will be worked out before launch. Definately a worthy GTA clone. Controls feel realy tight.

I wonder if there is a way to unpack this release, remove the big red wall that encloses the are you're limited to , then repack the game, burn and play.  I wouldn't know what to look for, but if someone could hint me in the right direction, I'd see what I could find.

I went pre order at Eb monday and asked them and they had no idea what I was talking about. Guess i'll have to wait and see if it goes on marketplace

in game framerate is OK... control feels good. cut scene frame rate is about 5 fps, no diea why, looks like hell. the explosions are very pretty! no motorcycles.  the weapons all feel unique and pack a punch.

Eb games called me today saying they got the demo in. Tried it out for a little while. Its not bad. Its not great either. It'll be alright till Gta 4 comes out. Hopefully the multiplayer is fun.

The game is pretty col, i got mine in the oxm disc 61 today. I only wish they put the gas and brake on the triggers... sad.gif

Thats what I was saying to. The A and X button, I dont like how that works. Will take some time to get use to it. They already used enough stuff from Gta so they may as well use that also. Or maby they will let you change buttons around with the full version but I doubt it.

Yes but i think this game is gonna be great. A very worthy GTA clone. Looking forward to it. I love the controls! It will have some graphical short commings but other then that itll provide many hours of fun! Gotta love the kill a pimp steal some hookers mission!

theres 3 ratings on that page though. while the IGN reviewer didn't like the game, it got a 8.0 average rating from 244 people and a 7.8 average from the 5 press people that submitted a rating. chromehounds is very addictive, i think its a great game (well, the multiplayer at least).

haha, ive done it quite a few times when a cop is right on my tail i just slam the car headon into a building and sometimes the cop will rear end me so hard he will fly thru his windsheild and into the building. awsome

Its just a demo maybe they will work on the driving but I love this game.... the fighting and just running around shooting gang members feels like Im accomplishing more than just shooting innocent people smile.gif
