My friend is letting my borrow PDZ, and although I probably won't beat it all in the 2 weeks I have it, I'm finding it very easy, especially on co-op, and I don't really enjoy the live part all that much.
I'm basically looking for 2 games - one that has great multiplayer, another which has a great story (1 player).
Unless multiplayer in the full version of GRAW is that much better then in the demo, I'm counting that out.
So that leaves me with BF2:MC, COD2, Codemed? I want a FPS for the multiplayer game.
As for the single player, I'm not sure if i want Kameo, Oblivion or some other game. The Kameo demo was extremely fun, but Ive read its really short. This being summer and all... don't want to beat it in a day or 2.
Oblivion - I really hated morrowind because of the lack of the storyline. I kept winding up in random places and kept dying. Also the combat mode was horrific. I remember trying to kill pests with my sword and it was extremely hard, and I kept dying. (and I am a master at the zelda games). Is Oblivion any better in this? I mean is there actually somewhat of a story to follow, as well as an improved combat mode?

Condemned is NOT an FPS. it is a single play only adventure horror game (think resident evil but in first person). It's a fantastic game but it will only take you 8-12 hours to complete
Kameo is also a great game but it's short and again will only last you 8-12 hours.
COD2 has an awesome single player that will take quite some time to complete if you crank up the difficulty (trust me it's worth it). I've never played it online but I hear lots and lots of good things about the online multiplayer for that game as well.
Oblivion is also a great game, they completely overhauled the combat system since morrowind and the Story line is much much easier to follow, not more text, when you speak to someone they actually SPEAK. It's not without problems if you don't like the repetitive nature of leveling up in RPGs you still might not like it but it's a whole lot easier to get into then ES3 was.
I can't comment on BF2 but from what I've heard you either love it or hate it, I don't see too many topics about it so I don't think there are all that many people (at least around here) with that game.
My advice to you: go buy COD2 and Oblivion... and consider RENTING Condemned and Kameo
As for other Genres... DOA4 is an awesome fighting game and for racing you can't go wrong with either PGR3 or Burnout (or both). PGR3 is a more serious racer (not a sim but as close as we've got so far) and Burnout is awesome Arcade racing fun.

COD2 has better graphics than bf2...they are both fun but i preffer COD2...you should rent condemned beat it then return it! the other 2 have good replay value!

i would say oblivion and ghost recon! i love cod 2 but recon has been alot more fun online

GRAW is one you might take a liking 2. Normally im not a huge fan of Ghost recon games( btw im a huge rainbow six 3 fan) but idk but its so much more enjoyable than the others because spawn camping isnt as bad as it was and its just somethin i clicked right into and enjoyed soon as i picked it up. Again Oblivion is another great game. Its lengthy and spontaoues. The Combat system is a huge improvement i heard of over the past elder scrolls. i have 3 files in that game with at least 20 hours in on each. Plus if you really like it you'll get hooked but the only problems everyonce in a while the game will freeze or take a huge amount of time 2 load. but as you probably heard you can clear the cache. Condemed is another great game but its short but if you take the time 2 only play it late at night with surrond sound and hd its amazing . Probably if rush through it it ll take 8 - 10 hours at the max maybe? i dont know how long it took me. I wish i toook the time at the end not 2 rush through it. Plus if you take your time you can maybe figure out whats going on. my best bet is 2 buy graw, rent oblivion 2 see if you like the combat system, rent condemed, idk about battlefield 2 or cod 2 ive never gotten a chance to play either. But what i can say about battlefield 2 demo for the xbox its was a freaking blast peace out
surprise
i still have no fucking idea if they re crackheads mental patients or he is mentally insane or if its all real

Oblivion and COD2 hands down. Trust me you wont be disapointed. They are value for money with the amount of game time you will spend on them. Oblivion is just huge with all those mini quest and cod2 is a decent length fps with a fantstic multiplayer expericence which will keep you interested for a long time. There are many other fun games out there but there but without the game time and fun enjoyment to those two

COD2 and Oblivion, no contest.
Oblivion is the reason to get a 360!!!!!

Its hard to recommend COD2 after just finishing it on veteran and not wanting to look at it ever again, but for sp I'd say COD2, plus you get some good mp. I enjoy GRAW mp better but since you don't like the demo go with COD2 and you should be able to find it in the classifieds for around $30 shipped I would say.
Oh and yea no game has ever made me literally scream at it until COD on vet. Um, yea...

i wouldnt suggest oblivion. i bought that game and played it 30mins and its been sitting here since then (release date basically)
cod2 though for sure

COD2 is good but only 8 people in a game is not next-gen and gets boring fast.
BF2MC is by far the best online experience to date 24 people, tanks, boats, helicopters all useable. Big bonus is on the fly joining, meaning you can join a game and it doesn't matter if there is 4 minutes left or 4 secoonds left (never gets old)
GRAW single players is sooo intense and best graphics too date. But onlien is a drag, you cannot join a game in progress. Which means 80% of the time (even when a game shows in setup) you join and have to wait for the game to end before you can play..... very stupid indeed and a major turn off

I hated Morrowind myself. But I can't stop playing Oblivion. It is awesome, huge and addictive.
