Its funny to see them try to down play the fact that 60% of that list are 360 titles........lol
anyways the reality of it is that most of those 360 games are either AAA titles or budget titles. I hope publishers are taking note that if your gonna charge us $60 for a game then make the game WORTH $60!!
Plus this is a testament to the 360s amazing attach rate. Now somebody made the comment that they doubt next year this time there would be the same amount of titles on the list. Its true in the sense that MS has no competition but to be honest the ps3 definitely not gonna give the 360 competition in terms of software. Ill expect the wii to flood the charts but sony's attach rate is so bad and with expensive blu ray games and many game delays, I doubt the ps3 will have much of a presence on that list. It will sell alot of Blu ray movies though......lol

really, why do they do that with oblivion, it should count as one, as it would be #1 and then have another 360 game on the list

it isn't bluray games. It's DVD9 games that's playable on a blueray drive. It will be a long time before PS3 games are bluray specific.

who cares about 360 game sales? does it affect u? NO
and i dont really think high game sales for a console are gonna affect the outcome of better games and more games coming. There are only a handful of xbox360 games even worth playing anyways

I'm flabbergasted to how dumb of a comment that is. Publishers pay attention to game sales because it proves what is possible with a system and its install base. why do you think companies always quote their install base, to let the publishers know how large of an audience they have to work with. If your looking for what system to release your new RPG that will be in development, looking at how fast oblivion sold 1.5 million may give publishers a reason to include the 360 in their plans.

more game sales = more publishers interested in making games for the console = a larger catalog for gamers to choose from.
You could argue what the attach rate means to the consumer but it ALWAYS means good things to publishers and developers.
If anything I think a high attach rate means people are excited about the console and are playing it more then doing other things like watching movies/tv/etc.
If an attach rate is low it typically means there aren't any games that the consumers feel are worth buying so their console is collecting dust while they do other non-gaming related things.
