The first thing I thought to myself while playing the pc demo was...

"this game would kick ass on a console, so Im not stuck at this desk with mouse/kb and no home theater to support the awesome story/visuals."

This is good news for console players as FEAR is one of the most stunning FPS's I have ever played. The AI was the best part, they really brought the gunfights to life.

any FEAR will do but the current one is excellent and Id love to have it on 360.

Well ive seen it on my friends pc and its sick.  

Creepy atmosphered FPS with everything cranked up a couple nothces.

Not sure if I can help too much but I own FEAR and have played it through in its entirety 3+ times. Its a stunning game. The wide array of weapons and realisitc enviroments make for some very nice firefights, while the enemy AI is far from perfect its definently the best Ive ever played against. If theres a way to flank you they will find it. A lot of the levels are designed that you almost always have multiple angles of attack and multiple ways to set up traps (explosives and camping) while still keeping you on your toes for sneak attacks.
I will say this, spraying an office with automatic weapons fire and watching the everything in that office literally explode is priceless. Just wait till you get the concussion rifle.....It leaves holes in wall as big as you are tall.



The bullet time is a tad cheesy but it really pays off on higher difficulty and some of the later levels.




All in all I rate FEAR at a 4.9 out of 5

Did you ever play the full game, and if so, did you finish it?

Judging by your last statement, I would guess that you never played through it's entirety.
Which makes sense since you're so hyped for it's console release.
I played the demo and it seemed ok, but I'm hoping the demo just didn't do the game the justice it deserves.

Hell No im not playing a full game on a pc, Id rather have diarhea for a month than sit here and be stuck at a desk.

I fell inlove with the game in the first 3 minutes of the demo. I went on and on about it and KAGE had to see what the fuss was so he came over and tried it, and right away he knew he liked it as well.

Im assuming it would get a semi decent port job. If it doesnt, I will be very upset

So in other words, make the shit, dummied down one for the consoles, and the good, hardcore one for the pc.....i hope not, but this seems to be a trend happening lately.  For hell sake devs just give use the same freaking game as the pc version and do not "tailor" two versions.

I love it on the PC but I don'tlike most FPS on the consoles, it won't have the same fast-paced intensity to it.  I've never even played the single player, DM all the way for me and it gets very fast paced in a small deathmatch level with 16 people and I think it would loose that with the console.  I will put a keyboard/mouse against a controller any day for speed.  I don't care how quick you push that stick left or right, i can full swing around with a laser mouse before you finger is off the stick.

PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 will get different versions of the game.

The game content will not the same for the platforms so it's pretty much three different sequels.
