Interview with Toby Guard(original creator of Lara). They also show many never seen before tidbits of the game in action.

From 13:46 to 21:35....
Dirge of Cerberus, Squares attempt at some type of FPS. I am still in shock but they disliked it. 1up, the biased bastards actually dislike a ps2 title. Whats this world coming 2!


From 21:36 to 25:15....
Everyday life inside the 360 Lounge. This was kinda cool actually, still amaes me how they get one and we do Not  grr.gif


From 30:50 to 32:40....
Prey and Duke 4ever(HAH!) are discussed after one of them goes and meets with the creator.

Whats inbetween all this and what comes after I found to be irritating and had to skip it. That game where you tag, Mark Echos game? Total pile.

they laughed at it.

Prey was shown for pc and the 1up guy mentioned Duke to the 3d Realms guy and he started giving reasons why it hasnt been made yet.

So when he got back to 1up HQ and talked about his meeting and how it went, they laughed about it.

I think this PS2 footage from tomb legends shows what its about, a great looking NEXT-GEN game for the PS2, complete with nimble combat, physics and ragdolls. But for the next-gen console, the 360, its just a past gen game right down to the graphics.

Look at any of the 360 shots where there is a brick wall face that is just flatly bumpmapped, then go play Kameo demo and look at the parallax mapped walls where every stone is 3d. Thats not polygon but parallax mapping. The makers of Tomb legends dont have a clue what comes to next-gen graphics and anybody thinking it looks great on the 360 is just kidding themselves.

Now the game itself looks like the best lara since the first one. But it just doesnt justify itself being on the 360 imo.

a tomb raider fan, a fan of the originals, will eat this game up, regardless of its graphics. Id take the saturns graphics, as long as it adheres to the first 2 games style.

I am grateful we are being offered this title on 360, bring it!
