It's kinda like asking about THIS.  
Gamestores use these placeholders to sell games already out and generate interest in their sites.  Keep an eye on the EA Sports website.  You'll see launch info there.

anyone else remember EB posting halo2 release dates as early as september 2003 so they could presell it in april 03?

yea 07 should be off tha hook tho. 06 is tight if u jus play sim tho and not any of that other stuff. but i want practice mode, other than that im fine with current 06 cuz the graphics are good and the gameplay is tight

Alright, forgive me my fellow Micro-soft Xbox 360 brother.  I certainly do agree that Madden NFL 2007 will indeed be off of the hook.  And I do also agree that Madden NFL 2006 indeed does have terrifically swell graphics, and yes, the gameplay surely is indeed quite tight!
