I figured I'd compile a little list of games that have at least tenative release dates. Some of the titles I find interesting are (of course) Halo 3, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, Top Spin 2, and Burnout Revenge.

March 20 per Gamestop employees, 3/1 per the Gamestop website, just put my $5 down. I think it will be like the first Halo, kind of catch people by surprise, build up to be THE game for the 360.
Try the low resoluz video first

I know there are errors on the list, but I didn't look all over for the latest on each one. My original list was 162 games
. Plus, guys like Deftech always have good up-to-date game info. 
hardcandy you are on to something. GOW is supposed to be quite impressive. I don't think it will be exactly like Halo, as it really did come from nowhere. But it probably will be THE definitive 360 game until at least 2007.

I don't trust store time tables either but if you're going to trust the release date of ANY store Amazon.com is usually really good. Toys R Us handles all of the toys and games and they tend to keep a policy of not posting a release date until they hear it from the publisher...

Either put out the (now somewhat finalised and patched) PC version (which is one of the best games ever imo) or dont put out at all. We dont need past-gen, toned-down kiddie games on our grown-up next gen system.
PC BF2 on the 360 together with HL2 (with CS and HL2DM included) are the unfulfilled wishes that are both relatively easily done and no chance in hell of happening due to the shortsightedness of companies and players (only high-end PC gamers know about the joys of BF2 as it should be).
Otherwise impressive list there.

Let's hope that a few february Xbox titles, like Toca Race Driver 3 and Black will be great titles and fully BC supported when they come out. Otherwise those 28 days will be a long, long wait.

You're right about Feb. being s l o w. But Holy geez! Look at March! Splinter Cell Double Agent, Gears of War, Blazing Angles, and Far Cry will keep my pants going crazy. That's $240 worth of fun for me!
I'll use Feb. to save back a little $$.
