Title: Which Launch Titles Are You Getting?

I plan on getting 6 titles:

Madden 06
Project Gotham Racing 3
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Gun
Quake 4
Frame City Killer

Now that's one heck of a good lineup I'd say.

I picked up my prordered PGR3,Condemed,and CoD2 today at gamestop. They said my PD0 will be there tomarow, along with my wireless controller.

I'm picking up the following at midnight with my xbox 360:

premium pack
3 wireless controllers
COD 2
Quake 4
PDZ
PGR 3
Madden
debating a 6th game (Kameo or Condemned?  Appreciate your input)


I have another copy of PDZ to pick up, as well as another xbox 360 premium pack, but i have to wait to pick that up till december according to the game store...  Too bad, i reserved them both and paid for them in full back in march.  doesn't seem fair that those of us who paid first (and paid in full) can't get more than one system, especially when most of these kiddies haven't put any more money on their box except the $50.  they'll probably never come and pick theirs up.

I never got into madden on xbox, so I might rent it...

Like I said earlier, any help with deciding my basketball game would be great. Gamespot hasn't put out a review for live yet, so I'm kinda clueless.

By the way...I have been dating my girlfriend for a year on December 9th, so she is getting me another game and two extra controllers. This is great!!

If I decide I want a 3rd game at or after launch I'm looking at
Kameo
Condemned
Quake 4 and maybe
Gun

Though I'd probably want to rent before I buy on those titles.

I'm not a big fan of FPS games and unfortunately a lot of games, even non FPSs are using that style control... which is unfortunate. In those cases I'd like to try before I buy because if it's not done right I probably wont like it.

Ive just finished reading all the major game reviews nd i have made my decision final!

The winners are..:

Perfect Dark Zero
PGR3

nd maybe CoD2 (Ive already invested major hours into the pc version no point in playing it again..)

Still not 100% sure, but im leaning towards PGR3 and PD0 (was thinking about condemned as well, but since the reviewers claim of it to be quite short in playing time - about 10-12 hours- i doubt ill spend 60 euros on it).

Considering that ill be buying only 1 game on launch day though (a bit short of cash since im not working at this time), ill probably go for PGR3 due to the longlivety of Racing games (and also the fact that it is going to be the best way to showcase the graphical prowess of the 360).

right now im wondering if I should get a 27 or 30" widescreen HDTV LCD TV monitor. I have a standard 24" now and im curious if should go LCD TV route.

was gonna get COD2 but tried a bit on a Pod and on the PC and found it is an on rails shooter (like the other COD)

Personally I'm very unimpressed with the launch lineup.  The only reason I'm buying my 360 now instead of waiting for a price drop is for Oblivion... but that obviously won't be out for some time.   I think to keep me occupied until then I'll purchase Kameo and PDZero, but I honestly can't say I'm excited about them.

For me the choice is clear: PGR3 and CoD2. They are the two highest rated launch games, and from my detective work; appear to be worth the money.
