No, just co-op in general, doesn't matter whether it's split screen or live. Me and a couple of friends have live, so we can play co-op over that.
the only other launch title that could offer coop would be Perfect Dark, but if I had to bet, Id say the chances of that are slim to none.
I think PD0 will have some sort of Co-op. If not, I don't think many people would mind since multiplayer matches are supposed to be th big aspec of the game.
It doesn't have all of that jumping. It's more about finding cover and performing manouvers to dodge your enemy. Pretty cool.
I still don't know if it will be much better than Halo on a fan-shifting front, but it should be impressive nonetheless.
?
Games will support the HDD. Where do you get the idea that there will be 'minimal' cacheing? We have said numerous times that making a game cache isn't hard, resulting in normal cacheing.
Also, spit screen is possible without a harddrive, just not without load times. You will have compromises, like low quality textures, but that is not the issue when we are talking about such a powerful next gen console with HDD support.
You're right, MS doesn't know what they are doing.
I wonder why you would think that. ^
lol I respect that.
All I really mean is that Xbox 360 games have the capability and are using the harddrive, so things should be fine.
They'll be fine because we'll never know what could have been done if the HDD was standard.
Devs supporting an HDD vs. The HDD being standard with a given platform.
Two very different view points.

Oh, they know what they're doing to gain the largest market share, and if that means the tech suffers, so be it.
