Just get the wireless network adapter that is made for the 360. It will pick up the signal, same as the laptop will.

It might be possible to use your extra router as a wireless adapter like you want. The equipment might or might not have that feature and might or might not be compatible. If it is possible it isn't the type of thing that is easy to explain online. Basically check the extra router and see if there is an option to use it as a wireless client or wireless bridge and then try and set one of those modes to work with your main router.
