Sorry, why does it have to be 120? I have a 160 and 250 will those work? So they must be formatted in FAT 32 otherwise it wont work?

Put it in the enclosure and format it in windows. Right click the drive and select format. Make sure that you format as a FAT32. Just so you know, you can only play music and pictures from the hard drive, no video.
FYI, I just plugged in a MS Dos (Mac Disk Utility formatted) 10 gb drive via USB 2.0. First tried an mp3 and it worked. Then tried a .mov and .wmv movie file. .wmv worked fine. So in conclusion, the video worked from a third party external USB 2.0 hard drive formatted in what I think to be fat32.
About to try a 120 gb drive with tons of .wmv files on it. I'll report back if all is well.
Cheers
