Title: Using A Wireless Router And Laptop To Bridge Connections
Post by: skyjager on August 18, 2006, 05:11:00 PM
Nevermind, I got it working again, here's what I did:

1. Set up wireless router with Xbox360 connected to it, take another ethernet cable and connect a LAN port to the router's WAN port.
2. Change the router's WAN settings to static with the following settings:
IP: An unused address to be given to the router.
Subnet: The same as your main router
Gateway: IP address of the PC the router will be accessing the internet through
DNS: Same as gateway.
3. Change the PC's wireless connection to static, with the following settings:
IP: Same as the above entry for "Gateway"
Subnet: Same as main router's
Gateway: IP address of the wireless router
DNS: Same as above
3. Enable ICS for my LAN connection.
