Title: Jasper 256mb Need Help Please!
Post by: sascho on November 12, 2010, 02:21:00 AM
Hi, would be grand if I get some help here with my Jasper 256MB.
I spend the last 2 nights on it with no luck and now I don´t now what to do more.

Its my second box and with the first one a Jasper 16mb everything works perfect immediately,
but this Jasper 256Mb now drives me crazy.

I am using an USB Flash device and the first problem I have is that I got error 250 on 2d0
always and a few on the end like 3FF9-3FFF or so.
Sometimes I got an error 204 at 2209.

So I made a lot of dumps and they are mostly exactly the same.

Worried about the bad block I tried a lot of programs.
360_Flash_Tool_v0.97 said that there is one bad block, but I dind´t find a program to move it, and
I think I dind´t understand this really. Just read that a clean nand or something is needed but
I don´t now how to get.

So I have my nand dump 256MB and I read out with nandpro the rawkv and rawconfig.
Than I want to integrate it into the XBR_8955_3 or something which is approx. 66MB and for big block Jasper.
But it failed always to integrate them. nandpro gives an error like no file is there, but it is.

Than trying to extract it with 360_Flash_Tool_v0.97 and trying to import in xbr, alyways get the
error kv corrupt or wrong size.

So I tried than JTag Tool 2.12(new) and simply wrote Xell into the dump and yes it booted into Xell
and I got a CPU KEY (but valid?) because Xell wrote on the blue screen that kv is corrupt.

Anyway I tried freeboot made by Jtag Tool 2.12 and flash it, but it don´t work. It results with one red flashing ring diode.

I flashed back the original dump and disconnect the jtag connections and the box is running again with stock rom. So the original dump is working in somekind of way

So please now how to get it running? Any ideas?

I think its the bad nand and I don´t now how to repair it.

Please help!!!

hi
to see if yout cpu key is valid open flash 360 and put in your cpu key and see if you get all the info for the nand. xell is flashed to the first 50 blocks of the nand, you said that the bad block was somewhere at the end right?

as fot the e79 youll probably need to do the transistor jtag:

hope this helps
