Title: What Have I Done To My Nand?:(
Post by: Aldanga on October 11, 2010, 12:51:00 PM
What errors do you get? That's very important.

I messed up my original Xenon with a bad flash in Gentoo. I know other people who've had bad flashes and corrupted their NANDs. It's possible that your NAND is done for, but it's a pretty easy replacement for someone with the right tools.

Read errors
Error programming block errors.
Erase errors.

Unless you mean the ID numbers associated with the errors?

try removing the lpt and rewiring it with new wire then try to erase the nand i had the same problem and it ended up being a short in the cat 5.

Error numbers would be nice, but aren't totally necessary.

I'd recheck your wiring and erase your NAND a few times like ravendrow said. Then try to reflash. If it doesn't work there are some other tricks you can try, but we'll hold onto those for later.

on a side note make sure the diode is wired straight to the board and i personally recommend grounding to the case seems to get less read errors  that way
