Hey, Just got around to slapping in quake2 into my machine...
it works great and its funny to see it in such great resolution
Now, Ive had the mission pak 1 cd laying around for the longest time, I never got around to even putting it into my PC so I dont know how its even launched after instalation.
Has anyone ported the mission paks to xbox.
If so, you wanna tell me how its done?!?!
thanks alot!

Ha ha, gee this question seems to come up A LOT!
Unlike Lantus who has been kind enough to add a MOD Menu system for is yet to be released port of Quake 1, the author of Quake 2 X did not give a damn about Mission Packs, and left us with an unfinished, buggy, unexpandable port of Quake 2, which if you are lucky, may let you play to the end without locking up.

Hrmf.... I guess that reads as a big fat 'NO!'... <_<
...or atleast 'not yet'

Well there has not been an update, nor a peep from this dude for about a year now. I have tried to E-mail him on different occasions, and did not get any responce. I am not sure what happened to him, he REALLY had something going on here, you can tell by his work that he must be a good coder, but alas I don't think he plans on finishing his project, but who knows, he may just pop back up on the scene some day.
I will give Quake 2 X one good word though, if you are into Death Match, you can Network it to your PC, and take advantage of that. In this way you can also take advantage of certain Death Match Mods, and what not.
Of course Death Match is kinda pointless like Pacman, and gets old after a while, but its still something to do once you've beat the game I guess. :rotfl:
