Title: Ok, Im New To This
Post by: sicman on January 15, 2003, 06:28:00 PM
OK, im new to the developing for teh xbox scene, and i really dont know what im doing. I am a long time programmer, i just dont know how to go about coding for the xbox.

i have 'seen' an xbox debug bios, and what appears to be all the files that belong on the xbox hard drive to turn it into a debug machine.

but still, how do i go about programming for the box? do i need special libraries? are they "out" yet? i looked into the openSDK, but it seems to be lacking in many areas...

for instance, what was used to make ballzy? or the emulators?

ive been searching kazaa and mirc all day, any help would be appreciated.

Start out by heeding the advice in my signature.

There are several tutorials available (including one I wrote) for new developers.
