Untill the 360 can run unsigned code you will never see this happen.

The only solution to playing imports is to basically pick up a 2nd 360, albeit a Japanese one. It sucks, but there's no way around it until someone comes up with a way to break the region coding which usually is in the form of a modchip but I don't see one coming any time soon.
