Title: X2 5031 - Changing The Lba48 Options
Post by: a2002adam on April 30, 2005, 05:33:00 PM
I want to make the latest X2 5031 BIOS behave like the 4983.67 BIOS, mainly so that it splits the drives the same (at the moment, with default options, my *FULL* 250gb hdd has "83Gb free on F: and 0Gb on G:" according to 5031, with no games recognised, whereas 4983.67 recognises all the games and shows the correct drive sizes).
I think this is to do with the LBA48 from what I've learnt, but I've got no idea how to change it so that it allocates the same space to F: and G: as 4983.67 does. I've looked in x2ool, but I don't know where to get a ROM file to use...
Any solutions?
Thanks <

the x2-5031 bios is not currently supported in xbtool. use either x2 config maker (look in the news on x-scene) or use the small app provided with the bios, not sure if it is included anymore <
