Since the new x360 120 gb harddisk isn't likely to be released in Europe any time soon I've been looking into buying one overseas.
It just so happens that I'll be in Japan in a few weeks time, so I figured I'd pick one up there.
Now I'm not sure if a Japanese x360 120 gb harddisk will work on my European Xbox 360.
Does anyone have experience with using a foreign hdd on your 360? Will it work?

You'll be ok with a japanese HDD. Their region 2 so will work fine on a PAL console just make sure you get the data transfer kit with it or you'll have troubles copying over your game saves etc.
You do realise they are for sale in Europe right now, in the UK Game are stocking them as well as many other stores but Japan will most certainly be cheaper option.

Thanks for your reply, I'll be getting it in Japan then

They might be available in the UK, but I live in the Netherlands and it isn't in stores here (yet?).
Besides, with the current exchange rate the 120 gb HDD will only be around 115 euro's
