This works well for me, and maybe easier then FreeKey or OpenKey for others.  Not to say i'm not good with CLI just makes things User Friendly.  Let me know what you think.

it is a beta version of my app

the final version is here

fixed internal bug

and added new checks

string sector check
aes key check
encrypted key check

that shit's tight.  I think it should be used before FreeKey or OpenKey.  It's easier for beginners. (lol, not that i cant bust out the dos prompt if i need to)

EDIT:
i get a bad string data on V1.0 the older version works just fine.

my honest opinion is this tool is by far the best.  You should program lo83 to work with it, have it dump the file bin file then auto load into your app.  Keep it up it's lookin nice.

Porting LO83 to your app shouldn't be to difficult.  What language is Fwz Decrypter writtin in? probably C if i'm guessing right

Looking at the tiny size of the files I assume it's assembly.

Man i'm kicking myself for not learning ASM back in the day.  Assembly is hard work, it's always push this and pop that lol.  Still it can be done, just make your app call that app and prompt the user to put the drive in the same positions.  It could work.  I'm interested in this project.

Very nice fudowarez. I couldn't get freekey to run on my system, but your app works like a charm. Nice touch with creating the dummy.bin file too! Keep up the awesome work man!

Excellent little program but prefer the key font of the older versions ( easier to read with my older eyes )

Sounds like a splendid program, I can hardly wait to use it!!!!

Maybe there should be a vision impaired version/option that will use bigger font. ! Maybe?

You can hex edit it to a different and bigger font if your having a problem with it.
Just need to unpack it with UPX first.

The size of the font is fine, it is the boldness of it, it seems to bleed into each character.

It may have something to do with me using lots of Kleenex whilst making eyes at my Kate Bush posters when I was a kid hehe  tongue.gif

open your barcode.bin with any hex edit and check this

Fwz Decrypter 1.3 check explanation:

My 00000060h: AE 03 80 14 AA EC 49 3B F4 00 9B 5B 24 B0 85 9C

I have dumped the fw a lot of times and always i have this string

I have flashed the drive with the key decrypted by openkey 0.2 and the console work and play originals and backups

I have made 4 83850c and only this give me this error with Fwz Decrypter



I have tried the new version of  Fwz Decrypter and it work, it give me the key  biggrin.gif

Yeah ASM is pretty nuts, i've always wanted to learn assembly but it's just to hard.
