wow that really sux. I never dumped anything from the 360 drive.. So it looks like I'm out of luck.. And that is because I didn't read ALL the tut's. Is there anything useful I can use this 360 for at this point?
In the folder I was able to see identify.bin and query.bin. That's it
You have just learned a very expensive lesson.
When you get your next 360 PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!! Read everything there is no know about everything before you touch the drive. Get Jungle Flasher and read the tutorial for it a thousand times.
Don't forgot you will also need to buy an extractor to get the drive key before you take your new console apart as well.
More than a little frustrating to come here all the time and see all these people killing their consoles because they want to assume they know what they are doing when in fact they don't have a clue.

Well, the good thing is someone gave me 360. It sux that a perfectly 360 is goin in the trash.. Oh well. could be worse. Frustrating for me probably more than you.. lol
I agree. I didn't mean to offend you and I know your loss but its just a little frustrating cause 99% of bricked consoles should never be bricked if people did some more research before taking their consoles apart.
But good this is that I am 100% sure you will not make this mistake again so at least you are moving forward.

Alright, so it's not a total waste then.. Ripping games to my computer isn't a bad thing. But, how can I get any firmware to this thing if my computer bios doesn't even detect it anymore? thanx for all the info
You need to use dosflash and it helps to know what port it is on.
