Help Please!!!!

I would like to update my Hitachi GDR 3120L v59 to iXtreme 1.5 from version 1.4, but I have lost my original firmware.  Is it possible?

My main reason for upgrading is I hear 1.5 is better and I can't backup my Wave 3 games, which all the new games (UFC, Ghostbusters, Transformers, etc.) are.

I've read all around and I can't find anything specific to this, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

you mustnt have looked very far, of course it is possible but 1.5 wont play wave 3 but 1.51 will , try reading about jungleflasher thats the way to do it ,do some reading and do some more ,you will not get spoon fed here, this is supposed to be technical section .

Thanks for the info turny.  Believe me I not looking to be spoon feed, I like learning the hard way (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). You retain it better.  But at least I know it's possible, I will keep reading..

Page 43 onwards in the jungle flash guide. Its quite a complex process to describe on here. So RTM.

no problem,please be aware the hitachis are not the best to start with , but please dont be afraid to ask if you are not sure as the last thing anyone wants here is for someone to brick their drive.
