Probably too late to ask  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
what program were you using to update benq
OMG  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
why did you not read the firmware first  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
anyway very expensive lesson and sorry to hear of your problem
but yes its a no fix

Jungleflasher may indeed have saved a log with the dvd key in it but i doubt that. I think he just screwed up and erased first or something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, if you were UPDATING it, then you should have a copy of the origional FW somewhere that has the key in it. If you still have that, then the drive is recoverable. If you no longer have the origional FW (or any FW that has the key in it), then the 360 just got a new role as being a media center, no longer able to play 360 games.

How could you have erased your drive without first bumping your drive? Did it not occur to you that you should read the firmware first?

I find it hard to believe how many people who tend to have such little regard for their expensive hardware.

if you happen to find the copy somewhere post back so we can go through the process of getting your drive back working again  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
