Title: Can We Fix Bricked Hitachi By Using Portio In The Furure?

do we know if there is ever going to be a fix for bricked hitachi using something with PortIO that does not need a windows drive letter to flash or erase etc ?

if it can be made for liteon surely it can be made for hitachi ?

hitachi's have a different kind of flashchip and use different tools. It's most unlike that it will be done in the future

instead of removing the flash chip can we use the chillifix chip to unbrick the drives ?
