Title: Updating 1.4 To 5.1 Firware Help

Hi, Everyone =)

My friend has asked me to update his xbox to the new 5.1 firware thats just come out. He already has 1.4 on, which was not done by me.

Is it still possible to upgrade the firmware if i dont have his original drive key ?

If it is possible could anyone tell me how, or point me to a guide i could look at.

Also i was wondering if it is possible to flash the lite-ons now without soldering or using the team executer extracter. If you can could anyone again please explain or point me to a guide.

Seriously take a look around this thread. There is about 100 topics that start with "need help updating 1.4 to 1.51" and its always for a friend. This has been answered atleast 200 times in this thread alone. Take a peek and have a read.
