normally you dont have to use the 0800 disk available in the xtreme3.3 version(xbins--->xbox360--->hackedfirmware--->_old(some some such bullsheet)
when its resending the error code should be like 0x51.... turn it off for like 7 -10 seconds... right when you turn it off it should go to like 0x1D ... afte r that 7-10 seconds turn it on and it will register as 0x70(meaning A OK!)
If not... you need to download and burn 0800 to a single layer dvd and put it in the drive.... then shut down the xbox 360 and turn it back on with disk in drive to unlock correctly. boot up your comp.... get to the MTK vendor... resend and shut down the console for 7-10 seconds and it will work guaranteed(well nearly 100%) Let me know if there is any probs. if you want a more in depth tutorial.... use the search

as far as im aware the 0880 disc if for samsung drives only(someone correct me if im wrong)

You are 100% correct.... i thought it was a samsung.... reread and duh... benq..... 0800 is for samsung only and the turning on and off does work on more chipsets then the via. I used my laptop(ich8M) and it worked great.

Read the flash with dosflash32, patch the hacked firmware with firmtool, use dosflash32 to write the hacked version back - I spent around 6hrs trying to get JF to work, I should have just stuck with what Ive used before!
