So i tried to flash it again (had some backup dumps from dvdkey 0.7), now with all the serial information.
I did the same thing as before in JungeFlasher, created the firmware. Erased the liteon with the "Lite-On-Erase" button.
Then i clicked the Write button, it was writing bank 1 and suddenly it stopped. Followed by an BSOD (Blue Screen).
I didn't worry about it too much, because everywhere i read here it is almost impossible to brick your Liteon drive, so i tried several methods.
The drive isn't reconized by any program (eg JungeFlasher, DosFlash16&32)
So i tried to erase it with "l-o-erase" in DOS, because many people who had an "bricked" liteon drive could revive them again with that program.
But it keeps on displaying FF80 (or on a other computer sometimes FF7F) i never get FF72, i did power cycle between them(fast & slow power cycle).
I did try it on different computers, one with an Intel ICH9 SATA, other one with an ATI/AMD SB600 SATA, and the last one with an VIA 8237 SATA chip.
All with the same results, i performed the l-o-erase command more than 50 times on each computer i think. (with power cycle between them)
So is it fair to say i have really bricked my liteon drive? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Paper clip method
1. Locate the black slider on the right-side on the bottom of the drive (see picture)
2. Use a paper clip or screwdriver to press the slider all the way in
3. The tray should slide or pop out, pull it half-way open

But i don't really get it why is should get the drive half way open, i thought this was only needed when you want to read the key (and the other info) from the drive?
I have an CK3, but with no firmware in the drive (or part of the firmware) you can't open it with that eject button. I know the paperclip method, then it opens (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) .
But i will also try it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

At the prompt type L-O-eras.exe ( then your sATA address )
Then turn ON your drive before you press ENTER
You should get FF80 or FFFF
Then type L-O-eras.exe ( sATA address ) and press enter
You should then get FF72
Then turn OFF then ON your drive
You then type dosflash
You should now be able to write to your chip again

That's right. No need to have draw open when erasing or writing. Only for dumping serial info.

I did manually run the l-o-erase SATAPORT command for about 10 minutes or so.
But then i thought i could do it much easier with a batch script, so it wil loop the command.
I did run that batch script for 10 minutes, but it didn't work stil FF80
Now i am running that batch script in an other computer....
I also tried the method from "Biteable" but i also didn't work.
I think the only solution for me is to buy an replacement drive.

Why would you need to run it for 10 minutes? It does it in < 1 second! Why do you need to write a script to do the command twice? Just type: '!' to repeat the previous command or retype it, < 1 second.
If your drive isn't broken as in hardware or shorted, there is not way to mess it up even if you erase or partially erase the fw. As long as your sata port is properly working and not in RAID mode in BIOS you should be 100% ok with l-o-eras.exe.
Just type it once followed by the port # you saw of the sata port to which the liteon is connected to, it was 'B400' in my case. It will return FF80 first, type it in again and hit return, it'll return FF72 and then just powercycle it and at this point you can flash it with JungleFlasher in windows or use the DOS command.

It may sound easy just run the l-o-erase command twice (or more), and it must give FF72 but it just doesn't do it. I'm sure i am sending it to the right SATA port, and it is not in RAID or AHCI mode.
I tried it on 3 computers all with the same result.
Just ordered an ms28 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

So just for the record i did typ "L-O-Eras.exe 1F0" (which is the first SATA port on my main pc)
And i know it is the right SATA-port because i erased/flashed it before with that same port, i connected it to same port.
(On the others pc's where i tryed it i of course used other SATAPort HEX code for that specific PC.)
So sorry for the confusion!
I already have ordered an ms28 drive, i also got an VIA VT6421A SATA card for free included.
So i will check it again with that thing, but i don't have high hopes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Seriously though, I would check the sata port again just in case you have used the wrong one. Its not the first time that has happened.
