Title: Good Lite On Flashing Tutorial

Where can I find a Good Liteon flashing tutorial ? I read the Team Xecuter Tutorial but I found it complicated and hard to understand. Also I'll be using Xecuter CK3 Probe to read the Drive key.

If you get the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) in Jungleflasher you just need to install Microsoft .NET Framwork 2.0 or above.

If you get 000000000000 Bad Key then this might help (Credit KingDRAGON)

1. Make sure you have installed USB drivers and PORTIO32 as Team Xecuter states in the tutorial. You can find it in download page.
2. Power OFF your PC computer
3. Make sure CK3 On/Off switch is OFF
4. Connect SATA cable from your VIA 6421 controller to the Liteon drive
5. Connect the PC molex connector to CK3 pro
6. Connect the power cable from the CK3 pro to Liteon (be sure to connect it the right way)
7. Connect the the USB cable from CK3 pro to the PC USB port
8. Turn ON Computer power and go into BIOS Screen or dual boot OS selection sceen in order to pause bootup process
9. Turn ON CK3 pro power. Make sure the modeb light is lit blue (If you have a CK3 probe it then itwill lit blue as well)
10. Press the Eject button on CK3 pro.
11. DVD Tray should eject. Push in DVD tray more than half way in, with your hand.
12. Turn OFF CK3 pro power!!!
13. Let your PC boot into Windows XP
14. Turn ON CK3 pro power.

Hope this helps people with problem.
BTW when you flash the Lite-On. you switch the CK3 on and off quickly after the second prompt in Jungleflasher for those that might not know.

Thats a guide for using DOS, shows you how to read keys, create custom fw, erase and flash.

note: hacked.bin referes to the firmware specific to your drive (liteon-ix15.bin etc)
