hey i was wondering if there was any update on a release date for the hitachi firmware? i know they said early january but i was wondering if an actual date or an updated eta was ever announced?

was wondering the same.  but im impatient so i flashed my elite with the 1.4 for now.

I would like to now but im happy with 1.4 for the meantime

I was just on #fw and asked Iriez if he had any updates.  Apparently c4eva is being pretty tight lipped about his progress.

I see.  Thanks for the heads up.  I got a Hitachi 78k unopened and waiting to be installed with a 1.5 once its out.

I have flashed my hitachi 47d about a year ago, but I dont remember which fw I used. How can I see which one that is?

Whats the latest fw for the Hitachi?

is the 1.4 somewhat live safe?  u play online with it?  ive been tempted, but havent yet.  my old samsung was banned back durring the very 1st ban wave in 07.

i dont want to ban my elite if i dont have to.  will the 1.5 be safer than the 1.4?

well I just went to #fw and the mods: X]nWo[X] and KarateBob has gotten an official date from c4eva himself which is Late January.

thanks for the update! that at least lets me know not to bother flashing it now since january only has 2 weeks left.
