Title: Spoof A Benq Using A Liteon?

I have a dead benq with ixtreme 1.4 firmware extracted.
Is it possible to replace it with a liteon(got a spare liteon lying around) or I have to buy another dvd-rom? (samsung?)

yes, np, use firmtool or jungleflasher.... use extract from benq as source, ix1.5 for liteon as target...

use jungleflasher or dosflash to erase and flash the lite-on

As long as you have the drive key from the benq this should not be a problem.
