try using dosflash
well the dvd key is no good, plus i cant edit my post lol
dosflash gives me the no ATAPI error
and again dvdkey32 gives me the same result a jungleflasher

i keep getting this "78FFF89EB8FBF8BFFE7C637FE6B0B000" key
however when the pin is not incerted i get all 0's
dont know what this means and im still stumped
rebuilt this thing 3 times now, all good solder points
resisters are working fine
i take it it doesnt matter if i do them upside down or whatnot?
only thing that could be wrong now is the ntn..but im under the impression the one i got from radioshack should be just fine

m$ can blacklist your info....it probably doubtful, but possible.
what method are you using? I am guessing Yaywoop's? Did you try using dvdkey16? Are you sure the transistor pins are correct?

iv tried just about every method i could find on this forum..dvdkey16 as in boot in dos? tried that and had the same result
my transistor is a TIP31A
