Title: Spoofing 360 Dvd Drive

You need to obtain the original BenQ firmware drive key and flash it to the Samsung drive.

Does your computer's motherboard have a SATA port? That is number 1 on the priority list.

it doesnt matter, you shouldnt have your HDD plugged in while flashing unless you use NTFS4DOS.

i suggest you read textbooks tutorial. google it.

So finally after painful steps of getting all requirements for the flash, I have finally gotten the key off my original drive. How am I supposed to spoof to the new DVD Drive?

open up your BENQ firmware in 360fwtoolbox and copy the key, then open up the samsung firmware and paste the key and inject it. then you can spoof it to the correct drive using one of the contect menus in 360fwtoolbox (sorry, i cannot remember which menu its actually in)

I cant get the PC to recognize the DVD Drive for some reason. The SATA card is installed, pluged in to the DVD Drive, the drive is connected to the the other port from the xbox, and the SATA cord is connected from the drive to the SATA card. The power is on and it doesnt want to read it there. If anything, its reading it as a CD Drive.
