ok i was using the two wire trick to get into the b mode. So it didnt get into the b mode but the xbox 360 won't open the tray. When i press the eject button in the dashboard it says "opening", "closing tray" "reading" but it doesn't do anything. So i did the two wire trick and it worked, booted windows and flashed the drive but the xbox 360 still won't open the drive. Oh yeah when i hit eject on windows the drive does open. So is there a fix for this?

There is a difference in the way windows and the 360 do the Eject.... Windows sends a command via the SATA to the console to open/close... 360 uses a hardware solution, the eject switch is on the motherboard and is sent through pin 8 of the power connector...
I think it's likely that you got the 2 wire trick wrong...
As per Textbooks numbering, you are supposed to temporaily join pin1 to pin 9, pin 9 is tray status and pin 1 is ground.... Chance are you joined pin 2 to pin 8 which shorts 12v to Open/close and frys the open/close circuit....
