Title: Can The Sh-d162 Drive Work In An Xbox 360?

I originally had a hitachi drive but its not reading any backups anymore. So i thought replacing the drive would work. i already have the sh-d162 so would that work in a 360?

no.  that drive is just for making backups of your originals.  won't work in a 360.

dam well thanks for the quick reply. but am i better off buying a new drive or a new lens? or is there anything else that would make it read backups again?

I'd try a pot tweak if I were you before purchasing another drive.  What do you have to lose?
