Title: Stepmania Songs

Okay, I put stepmania songs into the correct folder, but whenever i open up the game the songs dont show up.
Whats the problem?

are they nested or just in the folder?

are they /songs/my mix of greatness/song/stuff for song here.

cause that's wha t it should look like, maybe not my mix of greatness, but the idea is there.

/songs/mix/songfolder/songstuff (dwi,mp3,bground)

Every song must be part of a mix, and must have its own folder. Additionally, every mix must have its own folder. So...

In the songs folder you should have:

1st mix (or mix of coo or whatever)... within that folder you should have the following folders:

song #1
song #2 etc.

Then within each song folder you would have song #1.dwi, song #1.mp3 etc.

If you've got all that sorted out, check log.txt in the part where the songs are loaded up and see if there are any warnings, errors etc.

I have it set up like that. but the songs still don't show up.

nested means folder within folder like c:\windows\desktop\temp\pRon\...

I dont think that is your problem though. I havent looked in a while but I remember waiting for the game to search for all my media one time. Maybe you need it to do that.
