Title: Fw-toolbox Vs Firmtool

Hi guys, I could use some help!

I want to update my sammy to 1.4, and it needs to be spoofed as hitachi 046. I used the make cmd (uses firmtool1.2) provided with the latest iExtreme1.4, I've put the original hitachi FW in the folder together with samsung ix14-12x.bin in fw folder, however when I check the created ix14.bin with fw-toolbox, i cant see my hitachi drive key and it also doesnt report as spoofed..

I tried inserting the key manually (and spoofing) with FWtoolbox, and then compared the checksums between both created fw's, but they dont match.

Which one is safe to use? Or am I doing something wrong here?
