Hi, I have the Samsung ms25 dvd drive, and I recently flashed it using an nforce sata controller..
Anyways I backed up the original firmware restarted everything then flashed with the new iXtreme 1.2c firmware and it said everything was OK. I hook up the 360 to my tv and tried with an original and backed up game and am now getting the error "to play this game insert it into an xbox 360 game console." Anyone have any idea whats wrong?
Also when i tried going back to reflash it with the original.bin I'm now getting the error status = 5, should be 70 which may mean it was bricked. If anyone has any ideas what to do that would be great.

Well I'm not really sure how, but everything is working! I flashed back to the original firmware using mtkflash w /m sata and for some reason I can play backups and originals.
Things I learned.
Downloading the 0800 disc works great when getting past the firmguard in my case. Just turn on the xbox 360 when you are in c:\iprep\ and use the command to flash the drive right when you hear the disc spinning. Good luck for anyone else that has problems
