Title: Dvd Rom Drive Firmware Downgrade

Hello guys. I have a quick question. My friend had his DVD drive upgraded with a firmware hack so that he could play burned XBOX games. he then stated that once halo 3 beta came out and XBOX LIVE was updated that he got banned from XBOX LIVE or booted (I forgot) Anyways, I was wondering if there is a way to downgrade the firmware or not. Thanks guys. I appreciate your help.

If booted, thats one thing, try to reconnect. If banned, well, as Carlitosbaby said, onced banned, your buddy screwed. the only thing that they can do now is get a new core.
