Title: Xbox 360 From Taiwan
Post by: dajuice on October 15, 2007, 09:58:00 AM
Won a Premium Xbox 360 on a business trip in Taiwan. When I put a NTSC game from here (U.S.), the Xbox 360 would say something about the game was from another region and it can not be played. Isn't Taiwan NTSC also? I was thinking about flashing the DVD's firmware but had to be absolutely sure before doing anything. If this is a PAL machine, would I have to flash the DVD with an iXtreme PAL version?

The firmware doesnt control the region coding.  So, there is only one iXtreme firmware for your version, no NTSC or PAL.

if you wanted to change your region code you would need to downgrade to an exploitable kernal whitch is a pain and not for the novus. you could just flash the drive and download pal games. but you would have to watch some are not in english.lol

Taiwan games are NTSC-J. Just get games that are region free.
