Title: Ixtreme Firmware 1.2

Will this FW on a ms28 work with older titles that were patched with SS only or is this FW only for discs that are stealthed and patched. If  iXtreme firmware 1.2 is install what will happen if a SS only disc is inserted? No live! is installed so online is not a issue.

It wont play it.  It must be properly stealthed.  That was the whole point of iXtreme.

Edit - I see your edit.  If you dont use live, use Xtreme 5.3.

What FW would you recommend on the ms28 to read media better, currently 5.3b,c,a was installed and it gave dirty disc errors. Would 5.2 be better or earlier ?

Ixtreme will only boot full Stealth backups. If you run a 360 image through XDVDMulleter and run the stealth test, it will tell you if the image is iXtreme compatible, if not, then you will need to re rip your game and obtain all the necessary stealth files for the image.

how mnay times are you gonna ask the same question everyone is telling you to use ixtreme 1.2 if you dont want to use it try whatever you want and get banned (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) but please stop asking the same question over and over.

He said he doesnt use live.  So, if you want to use unstealthed backups, use 5.X.
