Since i never use live for what its supposed to be used for (online gaming)
I was wondering whether i can get away with downloading demos and HD movies with an older firmware
I'm not sure about how stealth work
or even if it only works with games.
so yea, is it wise to flash iXtreme before i go in Live Marketplace?

Your question has already been answered, and accurately. Even if you decide to take your chances, and you feel safe, there may be future detection methods put into place.

stealth....make sure you rip your own games with xbc 2.x
xbc also has a stealth detection tool so you can test quite easily.
its poss MS detect using other methods so it is recommended to have iXtreme...
