While transferring the motherboard of the newly found
XBOX v.1.6 to a different case (old or new), or even while
probing the different components found on the new
motherboard, you might be surprised that your pride and
joy will refuse to power on. Dont panic! The chances are
the standby power regulator has gone down and needs
repair.
Good luck.
Let me know if this works.

Hey thanks for the reply... Umm I could did not find how to replace the stand by power regulator if that is the problem. It kinda looks difficult meaning that If it is damaged I would have to do some work on the mainboard right? And if this is the problem is there anyway I could have it fixed since I voided the warranty? Thanks

first check to see if it is the problem
it tells u a replace ment part at the end of the file
you will have to unsoder the broken one and put on the new one
your warrenty is void already because you opend it

Ok I will check and see if it is the standby power regulator but If it is I could not find where to get another one. I looked at the end of the file but I could not find where to get a replacement.

Also if it is the power regulator I dont think that I could replace it because it looks to difficult and I would not want to ruin the mainboard. Is there a place where I could send it and get it fixed?

It cost .32 $.
What do you have to lose.
I have soldered one on and it was way easier than the d0.
Good luck
